Abstract: Direction (defined as mission and vision) and motivation are among the top agendas of the 21st-century leaders. Where there is no direction, organizational suicide is certain and quality productivity is an impossibility. NASA's famous former mission was "to put man on the moon." At first, it seemed bordering between reality and hallucination. What is the organizational mission? How does it relate to the organizational vision? Clarifying these may comprise a tall order.
